Correct build configuration in Solaris subdir, correct english grammar,
remove irrelevant strip notice, introduce custom CFLAG logic, facilitate
use of Solaris Studio compiler with needed build configuration
adjustments, conditionally build 64 bit position independent code,
and accommodate tun(7) in newer Solaris releases by renaming driver
and module from conflicting 'tun' to 'vtun'. These changes include
some nonstandard 'I give up' logic causing out of tree builds by
manipulating the PATH, for example.

michael@312 45 %description
michael@312 46 Netperf is a benchmark that can be used to measure the performance
michael@312 47 of many different types of networking. It provides tests for both
michael@312 48 unidirecitonal throughput, and end to end latency. The environments
michael@312 49 currently measureable by netperf include TCP and UDP via BSD Sockets
michael@312 50 for both IPv4 and IPv6, DLPI, Unix Domain Sockets, and SCTP for both
michael@312 51 IPv4 and IPv6.
