The table column background should be visible within michael@0: the border edge of each cell originating in the column, and the michael@0: background should be continuously tiled to fill the entire cell. michael@0: Within the column, all stripes should line up as if the cells were michael@0: cutouts in a stencil placed over the column background. michael@0: Furthermore, horizontal stripes should align across columns.
