michael@0 10 uconv was originally written and contributed to icuapps by Jonas Utterström
michael@0 11 <jonas.utterstrom@vittran.norrnod.se>, and offered simple conversion and
michael@0 12 a way to know which encodings were available. It has since then be
michael@0 13 moved to the main ICU distribution and converted to the C conversion
michael@0 14 API, and is maintained by Yves Arrouye <yves@realnames.com> who seems
michael@0 15 to always be looking for one more feature or option to add to the tool.
