    1.11 +=========================================================================
    1.12 +
1.13 +Let's make a story. Add one sentence for every commit:
    1.14 +
    1.15 +CHAPTER 1.0:
1.16 +It was a dark and stormy night; the rain fell in torrents -- except at
1.17 +occasional intervals, when it was checked by a violent gust of wind which
1.18 +swept up the streets (for it is in London that our scene lies), rattling along
1.19 +the housetops, and fiercely agitating the scanty flame of the lamps that
1.20 +struggled against the darkness. A hooded figure emerged.
    1.21 +
1.22 +It was a Domo-Kun. "What took you so long?", inquired his wife.
1.23 +Silence. Oblivious to his silence, she continued, "Did Mr. Usagi enjoy the
1.24 +waffles you brought him?" "You know him, he's not one to forego a waffle,
1.25 +no matter how burnt", he snickered.
    1.26 +
1.27 +The pause was filled with the sound of thunder.
    1.28 +
    1.29 +
    1.30 +CHAPTER 2.0:
1.31 +The jelly was as dark as night, and just as runny.
1.32 +The Domo-Kun shuddered, remembering the way Mr. Usagi had speared his waffles
1.33 +with his fork, watching the runny jelly spread and pool across his plate,
1.34 +like the blood of a dying fawn. "It reminds me of that time --" he started, as
1.35 +his wife cut in quickly: "-- please. I can't bear to hear it.". A flury of
1.36 +images coming from the past flowed through his mind.
    1.37 +
1.38 +"You recall what happened on Mulholland drive?" The ceiling fan rotated slowly
1.39 +overhead, barely disturbing the thick cigarette smoke. No doubt was left about
1.40 +when the fan was last cleaned.
    1.41 +
    1.42 +There was a poignant pause.
    1.43 +
    1.44 +CHAPTER 3.0:
1.45 +Mr. Usagi felt that something wasn't right. Shortly after the Domo-Kun left he
1.46 +began feeling sick. He thought out loud to himself, "No, he wouldn't have done
1.47 +that to me." He considered that perhaps he shouldn't have pushed him so far.
1.48 +Perhaps he shouldn't have been so cold and sarcastic, after the unimaginable
1.49 +horror that had occurred, just the week before.
    1.50 +
1.51 +Next time, there won't be any sushi. Why sushis with waffles anyway? It's like
    1.52 +salmon in a cereal bowl.
    1.53 +
    1.54 +CHAPTER 4:
1.55 +The taste of stale sushi in his mouth the next morning was unbearable. He
1.56 +wondered where the sushi came from. He tries to recall the cook's face. Purple?
    1.57 +
    1.58 +CHAPTER 5:
1.59 +Many years later, Mr. Usagi would laugh at the memory of the earnest,
    1.60 +well-intentioned Domo-Kun.
1.61 +Another day in the life...
    1.62 +
    1.63 +TRUISMS (1978-1983)
    1.64 +JENNY HOLZER
1.65 +A LITTLE KNOWLEDGE CAN GO A LONG WAY
1.66 +A LOT OF PROFESSIONALS ARE CRACKPOTS
1.67 +A MAN CAN'T KNOW WHAT IT IS TO BE A MOTHER
1.68 +A NAME MEANS A LOT JUST BY ITSELF
1.69 +A POSITIVE ATTITUDE MEANS ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD
1.70 +A RELAXED MAN IS NOT NECESSARILY A BETTER MAN
    1.71 +
1.72 +This commit will change the world as we know it.
